About Us

What is Abundant Love?
Abundant Love Hosta Montessori School is an authentic micro-school located in a central location inside a beautiful shopfront, where the morning sun bathes the vibrant work area. The school serves children ages 2 ½ to 6 years in a diverse and nurturing setting. ALH Montessori provides a healthy, safe, well-prepared, rich, engaging learning environment focused on the whole child and their developmental journey. It fosters an abundance of love and exploration, allowing children to be themselves as they grow and navigate life’s unfolding journey, becoming good citizens of the world. We honor and respect the individuality of each child, understanding that every child learns and grows at their own pace.

The school embraces cultural diversity and connects deeply with nature. We recognize parents as their children’s first teachers (Guides) and welcome them with open arms to learn and grow alongside their children. Building a strong and loving community is essential to us, ensuring no one is left behind. We provide a solid foundation that fosters independence and a lifelong love of learning while cherishing the lessons we learn from the children in our care.

In 1991, my family immigrated to Cleveland, Ohio, beginning a new chapter. After two years in my profession, I married my husband, a pathology resident in Pittsburgh, PA. Our eldest son was born in 1996, and in 1997, we moved to Saudi Arabia for my husband’s job. Over the next 20 years, our family lived in various countries, deeply connecting with diverse cultures.
My passion for Montessori began when my younger son attended a Montessori school, inspiring me to earn my International Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy in 2005 and later a Master’s in Education. I developed an interest in autism while working one-on-one with an autistic child, leading to studies in Applied Behavior Analysis. I became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2014.
I believe that every child deserves an education that sparks their curiosity and reveals their unique potential.
“Free the child’s potential, and you will transform the world.” — Maria Montessori
